Hello,

I have a CMD and tried to read Delphi DCM7.1B PSA of a 2019 Citroen Jumper.
Reading on OBD was possible, but if I tried to write the file back on OBD, I got message, password protected, need to read an boot mode.

I got information, if I would read on boot mode, the password would be readed and stored on CMD servers, so that further OBD writing would be possible.

But until now, no notification about that.

Has somebody expirience of this?

For sure, I could write the file on boot now, but I would prefer OBD if possible.

I dont know about that tool
I use autotuner, and some ecu require password

In case of my tool password gets stored in server yes
When I try to do something that needs password tool says "Password is known by server"
And all works

tricore password is unique so i doubt it can be stored for other ecu's , probably what i meant that that particular ecu will be wrriten by obd next time because in boot tricore password is read and saved

Once you read this driver on the bench, you can later write this ecu after obd because you have the password, so does flex magicmotorsport
