Erasing errors with ista d killed vtg
I am here to inform everyone. On e70 vtg did not have any problem. Erased other errors with ista 4.36 and after that vtg is red.
I opened 1 thread about this and now I see 3. Please close 2 threads. |

RE: Erasing errors with ista d killed vtg
this is ATC700 or ATC35/L?
usually not a real problem. just let the car go to sleep on ATC700. sometimes liquid spill into control unit next to battery damages this control unit. |

RE: Erasing errors with ista d killed vtg
I had this problem very often and battery reset always helped. Also new VTG software can fix this problem in future.
If battery reset and test drive didn't work just check supply. Maybe it's just a stupid coincidence |

Just in case, if using K-DCAN with ISTA, make sure you're on 1 or 2ms in Device Manager. The default 16ms is not ideal.
If not using K-DCAN, ignore and hopefully it's not a broken module. |

RE: Erasing errors with ista d killed vtg
it is VTG issue, only on facelift E70, E71!
VTG defective! If you remove battery but not erasing errors all dashboard will be ok, if try to erase errors VTG becomes RED. Update with ista wont help. Just remove battery ,put it back, but not erase errors after! |

RE: Erasing errors with ista d killed vtg
Tries on other e70 now too. Did the same but resetting ews solved the problem. So after resetting ews vtg came back on both cars.
Maybe this will help someone. Problem solved. |
