In my case, after 6U3 upgrade (instead 609 on F97), everything is ok, including ATM communication: GPS position, RTTI, Country info, Weather map, etc.. Except time auto (grayed), messages never received on the car, and BMW connected Applications missing (especially My BMW).
Is this normal as ATM wasn't swapped to TCB3 ? I was thinking it could be normal for 6AK, but messages are not received on the vehicle - this is more annoying.
Someone experimented this ?

You can add your vehicle to your CD account via email to Connected Drive Support. You need to fill out a form and attach proof of car ownership.

Yes sure. The is already registered on My BMW apps for remote.
Here the question is to know why messages are not received anymore ? Due to TC3 - but I’m not sure..
Also Auto Time Online not available and some ConnectedDrive Apps

As I know, guys who replace telematic unit to ATM2 start receiving messages. But its specific and expensive process.


The main problem about applications is that connected drive servers think you have your stock head unit. I think the solution could be to change the type of head unit installed on the BMW servers side, but I don't know ways for it.

My g30 mgu retrofit  is 3 years old

Ok, so after you installed ATM2 (instead ATM), connected drive services worked fine on the MGU ? Like weather, messages, etc.
The car has ID6/ATM from factory, right ?

reinstall your ATM1, recode MGU for ATM1, revalidate, upload 1A8 FSC, should be all good.
