Carplay - SocketDMBSlave - Question Mark for Phone Battery
Hi,
I’m having an odd issue with an NBT Evo retrofit into a Mini. I’ve done many of these without any problems. The Evo has had the hdd replaced with an SSD, if it matters, and the fscs are aftermarket. On the Home Screen in the car, in the pane for CarPlay, where you typically see the battery indicator for the phone, this headunit occasionally says SocketDMBSlave and the battery indicator shows a question mark. More often than not, it works fine, but occasionally, it functions as described above. The only other issue I’ve noticed that seems relevant is that when this happens, nav is also slow to load - I see a globe where the map should show, for longer than expected. Once nav and carplay work (both seem to start slower than they should when this happens), they work fine. If I switch to Bluetooth and back to carplay, the battery indicator shows correctly. Likewise, if I turn the car off and back on, the battery indicator shows correctly. I’ve tried updating the firmware with no improvement. Any thoughts? |
