After lot of wasted time trying to remove broken FSC with this HU without success, I remove HU from My F30 and start more dissembly on table. Never before when searching info about CHAMP2 I don't find anything about SD CARD is second memory (i find it under service seal) 16GB Panasonic SD CARD! When I eject it and connect HU without SD Card in Car system still work but without any info about CAR (only FEW functions display).

I try to read this card on Laptop but without luck. Card (only this one) appears as Drive not Removable Storage - to Read i using build-in Card Reader on Dell 5414 Rugged. Maybe any1 know about this CARD in CHAMP2 and try to read it? After waste a lot of time to force FSC Remove without success i don't want waste much more to try read and manipulate with this Sdcard when maybe it is impossible like FSC Remove. Later today I try mount this Card via Unix Filesystem Type.

Im really "surprised" when found it. I expected build-in Memory Chip (it was exist too on Motherboard but SD Card IMO handle few more config and data than Navi Map File).

Maybe any1 have ANY hints for this situation.

SD card is formatted on non windows format. One partition is readable in native windows and contains also FSC. BUT there is also backup file if you wipe that file put back sd card it just writes it back there.. sd card is also locked to hu probably with ccid so swapping them around also doesn’t work.

This was experienced with champ from mini r56 but I guess from bmw works the same.

Hi, I have the same problem. did you manage to remove the certificates from Champ?

Actually IMO no way to do it. I will read and try all methods what I found on web and other forums none work for me. IMO when broken (greyed NAV) only way is New unit. I'm try back to stock Map > 2018 > Newest - nothing change, My unit randomly work for one week or day or until next car run and randomly can get grey when run car again. So... But I have problem not only with NAV FSC - i inject accidentally FSC 1B to Arabic Lang Version and it will rejecting but dont know it have something to Map in NAV.

In CHAMP it is unlocked.
All partitions are in FAT16/FAT32 format.
Cards are replaceable and FSC delete is possible if card is unlocked.
Unfortunately card size is exactly 16Gb compared the 14.7Gb of all commercial cards out there that are advertised as 16Gb.
So when using a new card it must be 32Gb.
After replacement there is a script in Tool32 to make the card usable by unit.

Nothing that could help. I think isn't possible, imo few years ago bigest brains try to work about it but - 1. Can't be done, 2. Someone know how to resolve but info isn't public.
