hi, good day everyone, i've replaced my car dme and cas3 with used units and write in key no.3 and no.4 but its not working at all cant even turn on ignition with them, i do have old key which come with the used cas working.

problem is the used key remote can't be use because the car originally come with 433mhz but the key is actually 315mhz thus i write in another no.3 and no.4 433mhz remote key

short story
car with cas3+ istap 433mhz replaced with used 315mhz cas3+ istap,dme and key works fine but remote not working

write in another 2 433mhz keys, both remote and ignition not working at all and the keys are wrote but i do keep the .bek key files

attached is my ori and wrote epprom does anyone know whats going on? thanks in advanced

What procedure did you use to do the new keys? What tool? By OBD or Dump?

If you write a new key and it does not start car then,

1. Bad cas flash/eeprom (Rare problem this but I have seen it once before)
2. Bad keys (Chinese keys)
3. Useless programmer (Like trying ACDP on cas 3++ OBD without downgrade )

I think your problem is 2 or 3!!

using dump, made the key using hitag2 and used bmw explorer load the eprom to write in the key then write back the epprom, after i wrote back i still do another read to make sure the key is in

Did you use the dme isn in explorer?

hmm i didn't touch the isn as the used dme n cas come from a donor car, they works fine

And you downgraded the Cas? I think there is something wrong with your procedure.

1. You have an encrypted cas - You don't say if you downgraded it
2. If you used dump from a non downgraded cas to make key then you must decrypt dump by isn or key data, you don't say if you did this.

It means the cas data is not decrypted so the security key is wrong!! Wont work

I didn't downgrade the cas as the they direct dump the eprom using vvdi prog, seems "you must decrypt dump by isn or key data" this is my problem then, hmm I'll try again, thanks for the info
