@daxxer: I think ezs does not synchronize with dash on the w211 2003.. ? because i've changed dash without change ezs. that's all i;m saying..
i don't think topicstarter does not want to change ezs if its not necessary?

it would be strange. i've sold many digiprogs they all complain w203 does not work, never had complains about w211.

and 2 years ago I asked about correction for the w211 at another forum.
2 people say eis/ezs does nog need to be changed.

now I don't know whats true, did you actually tried the w211 (before 2006) yourself?

I have done a few 211s and it works like the others. If the dash was replaced and have different SSID then the EIS it shows ------- . If I change the mileage in the dash only it comes back in a few seconds.

I did it on W211 by changing odometer + - 200 km from EZS
then with DAS i did syncronize it, this only when i changed a faulty IC
