what needs to be done after an airbag has been replaced
E90 2011 in Minor front end with driver air bag deployed.
Air bag has been replaced and light is still on, any coding needed or procedure in ISTA to fix? |

RE: what needs to be done after an airbag has been replaced
You have to erase all codes and if the light remains on read codes again and you will know what else needs to be repaired.

RE: what needs to be done after an airbag has been replaced
Some codes and counters, like short circuit and crash safety deployment, can't be erased like this. Doesn't mean there are faults, but there are critical information entries.
If all crash damage has been rectified properly, then you can accomplish what you need with tool32. What exactly needs to be done depends on what the module is reporting. |
