Hello everyone. 

I repaired FRM 3. A common problem with EEE. I considered D-Flash a programmer and with the help of the DFlashtoEEE program I got a new EEE. I wrote it down in the block and everything seemed to work.

But there is one problem.

The emergency light alarm itself turns on (turn signals). It turns on even without ignition. It works 5-6 times and turns off and after 2 minutes it turns on again and so on endlessly. ISTA sees that it is the alarm that is turned on. Error on the emergency light alarm button. The button itself does not work, the light bulb on it is lit, but it is impossible to turn off the emergency light alarm. The button was changed and it didn't help.



I will attach here a photo of the block, D-Flash, EEE faulty and EEE which I fixed and recorded in FRM3 through the programmer. 



FRM rebooted via ISTA. It helps for 5 minutes, then this problem appears. 

FRM by default encoded with an empty MAN file - did not help. 


Tell me, what could be the matter? Replacing FRM with another unit ? Maybe someone has faced such a problem. Regards

you tried reprogramming/reflashing FRM3 with ISTA/P ? Most of these control units that fail have updated software available.

If after programming and encoding with ISTA/p same issue, i would recommend replacing FRM3. Not all FRM3 modules can be repaired only with bench programmer. Some have defects in flash memory.

No, I only did ISTA diagnostics. And I repaired it with a programmer. EEE flew off there. After that, everything worked except the emergency warning lights. Before the repair, the floor of the car did not work. Apparently something else is the problem, thank you

Are there any problems in my EEE ? or just check and fill in your dump?

Try disconnect alarm button wires from FRM. may be problem in car (aftermarket alarm system etc.).

Make sure you did not bend any pins, especially pin 18 of the small connecor.

Tell me, are the FRM 3 R56 HIGH EKS block and the FRM 3 R56 HIGH block interchangeable? If they don 't find the R56 HIGH EKS block , will it be possible to put R56 HIGH instead ?

Right now I checked, I pull out the entire 26 pin connector from the FRM and the emergency light alarm still works. So it's not about FRM and there's a short circuit somewhere further along the wiring?

That means you have a problem inside your FRM. Have you reflashed it as suggested by bmchicago???

Unless you have an aftermarket alarm system (or some other crap) which is connected to the turn signal indicator wires AFTER FRM.
