1B from CIC
I know I should know that, but not.
So, how can I drag 1B from CIC in E series where the system is retrofitted (no ethernet connection)?
Is it really so hard that I need USB to ethernet etc stuff?
There is also USB stick method, but that generated file which is too small.
As I did retrofit with FSTool where I did generate 1B for CIC etc.
My stupid question: is that the same file that I drag from unit?
I'm stuck to get map updates and all the codes generated are wrong.

RE: 1B from CIC
there is very little information about your retrofit, how to help you properly?

What is the vehicle? the year?

is the CIC present from the start or not?

Did you generate an FSC kit using Hu-Tool or using the manual method?

did you patch via .sh file

Have you entered all the FSCs and the certificate in the CIC using FSTool?

What is the current status of FSCs?

I want to help you

What is the vehicle? the year?  2007

is the CIC present from the start or not?  CCC --> CIC

Did you generate an FSC kit using Hu-Tool or using the manual method?  FSTool with intel instructions

did you patch via .sh file  yes intel v2

Have you entered all the FSCs and the certificate in the CIC using FSTool?  yes

What is the current status of FSCs? 17, 19, 1B 9C accepted = green green. 28 red redcar vin = CIC vin these read in FSTools
Thank You for helping me.
I read all the long thread (87 pages) before starting.
There was a place were was said that after 19 and 1b are set, map must be installed. When I installed 19, my navigation start immediatelly working ( mao seen)even it was in bench (different vin in my bench cas)

RE: 1B from CIC
use the same 1B that you generated and uploaded to the unit. that is the same file you would read back. why do you want to read it back if you already have it ?

use it to generate your code

Yes, that's what also was thinking. But this 1b generates map code that is not accepted at least in my generators (several). I will try once more time.
I like to do the whole certificate process from the begin, because I'm not sure if I have messed still something.
So the question:
can I do the whole process again with FSTool just to put later date to all FSC's?
This would (in my understanding) override previous ones and I' don't have to flash the unit again (my ICOM B is a bit fragile...)

why do the whole process again if the FSCs are accepted and navigation function is working?

you have a wrong generator, not a wrong patched CIC

Why do you would need newer date on FSC's?
If you have all the FSC's accepted and navigation works, i don't need newer fsc's for map code.

This one also tested, don't accept. I'm running out of ideas. If all FSC's are accwpted like my fstools show, what can be wrong?
