Hi,

Is there any (other than emulator) solution for removing elv from cas2?

Reseting counter wont work. 
Than start to move elv while trying to remove plug and voila...its working now.

But I need solution for this to not happend in future.

What is best solution?

 But what aboute lock mechanism? You leave it as it is in open position or drill/cut completly this lock "tooth"?

It could be any cas3? In c3 rev? Have you got part number to share? (without elv and CA)?

On e60 is possible to make without elv, on e90 work only from 2007/03 because until this year cas2 have D-ews and S-start, and after 2007 cas3 have only S-start

EDIT:
In attachment epp from cas2 and epp+flash from cas3. Could somebody swap VIN, ISN and key data for me? Also cas3 flash to write with NO ELV?

info for elv off, remove all components, leave only the steering column (so empty of any components about elv).

i really suggest you to flash your cas3 with winkfp to get elv off, but if you want to try it on bench, use the flash that i attach at your own risk.

zb for cas3 without elv? depends on wich cas 3... there are 3 zb for 3 series 9147204, 9147227, 9389116
