RE: ford focus 2009 central locking problems
thanks for those linkssmilei have read them and came to conclusion that i cant code those modules in bcm,gem or any other module..i can only enter factory values coded to that vin or if u have broken modul and u can still read as built configuration u can copy it to modul..but,i dont see that modul as passenger side modul and its configuration isnt good and i cant use it.i m going to buy another module for EU model with left side and install it.i hope this guy will want to buy another modul so i can test it cause it would help people in future if they got same weird problem..if i got it on diagnostic seen as passenger door module it will be calibrate it(if i buy it for same vehicle like the one i have).thanks for help,i will post results smile

Ford and Mazda is a bit different, options can be turned on and off using forscan for some module yes, but not traditional coding like BMW, VAG etc.

Perhaps program it with the Asbuilt, before that though, you mentioned that you have two modules, are they both same part number or different? did you run the part numbers to see what they correspond to? Also, did you actually check the wiring using wire diagram to ensure nothing is shorting etc?

Thanks and Rep Appreciated!

yes,i have checked both modules, they are good and numbers correspond to left side and other is for right side..numbers are all ok and by the look of the doors my friend who was dissasebmling them said that it doesnt look that doors have been ever dissasembled..im going thru this theory,if something was shorted then i wouldnt see that modul and he wouldnt work.but i see it when i disconnect drivers side modul..but then it comes more interesting,i dont see it as passenger drive modul,i see it again as driver door modul and i can read erros without any problems..we checked wiring to doors, and everything looks great.why do i see both modules as driver door modules..that part is very strange..

RE: ford focus 2009 central locking problems
was the car hit on the side in the crash ?

i'm thinking maybe there was a matching coloured door from a right hand drive car installed after the crash ?

i dont believe cause we are very far from UK and we dont get many cars from there but we did have improvement smile
Al,i couldnt find that kind of modul from 2009 -2012 focus but i found from 2006 (mk 2) ,it is different module, numbers, but it has 2 same ports so we had nothing too loose, just to test what will happen..on our surprise, both modules were plug in,we still couldnt see passenger module on forscan but car didnt lock and unlock it self and central locking on that door was working ,window also...wiring is ok then.on key u can lock 3 doors, right rear door is all not locking but at least we know that doors are ok,wiringsmile we need to find module for right side and then we will know bettersmileford is really crazy carsmile

i had a mondeo recently with all sorts of problems, dash was like a christmas tree sometimes, and immo faults would sometimes prevent start, problem was a bad earth strap, looked fine but faults disappeared when replaced, let us know how you get on, goodluck.

yes, ford focus 2 has big problems with cluster and with side connectors on passenger side..i resoldered few clusters and they made big mistake making cluster central gateway..very bad soldering..
