Hi I ve an 2018 f60 with full led headlight with 5a4 function. I've buy an lci 2022 model with same adaptive light. I've already update the istep of the bdc last year. Wich coding i v'è to do? Change vo with 0321 date and typeschueel 2022 model and than code the bdc?

Yes that's correct. Normally just need to change the type code and build date to match the headlight (in this case 0721) and you should be able to VO code the headlight modules (FLE/FLM)

Keep in mind if you VO code BDC with those changes, your rear lights may have errors, unless you also swapped the rears as well with LCI lights too (since you have a Pre-LCI 2018)

A ok thanks yes i've just been change the back light with new lci led model. It's possibile to view the istep level of the bdc only? I think it is 21-07 etc

Oh sorry another question...How do I check if the headlight has the extended function 5a4? I serach the code on the light but nothing the code is A8 5A1EC06-02

IMHO there is NO 5A4 on F60 LCI. Just 552 or not.

Also iStep is not something that you see (except as stored in the car, but you can write anything there). So if you know ALL SGBMs in a single unit then you can check in which iSteps (yes, usually there are many with same combo) they were used.

Did your new lights came with FLE modules? If so, it could be possible to determine whether it's AHL high or not based on HWEL of it.

Well, I see plenty of 552 in KIS conditions for LCI and I don't see signs of 5A4 for LCI there. But I looked over just a small amount of (enormous amount of) data. ETK does not have 5A4 for headlights in LCI either. Hence IMHO.

Tell whole HWEL. First hex number is a bare minimum, but then I can't guarantee exact info match.

Of course you can put whatever options you want in FA file alone. But in KIS conditions for type code 52BR SPECIFICALLY there are NO checks for 5A4, but PLENTY of checks for 552. 5A4 I see only in LCI F48.
