Hello I have a BMW 116i with MSD80.2 ECU. ECU is faulty and need to change to a new used MSD81.2 from same car.

I have both full read with X17 tool can we convert files so I can clone the MSD80 to 81 or change ISN of MSD81 so I can program with ISTA-P?

half file not present, read boot, not bench and not obd, old flash, new flash new eeprom.

Unfortunately Magpro2 X17 use to have bootload read but wasn't good on later version made the Clone/restore function which is full read of Pflash Dflash and Eeprom but keep it encrypted in one file.
I ask Magic to decrypt but they don't give any help cause of X17 not supported any more as they said to me and to a guy with a lot of tools bought from them

ok zero hours in msd81 eep and put isn of msd81 in cas, program with ista p but make sure that your i-step shipment and fa are correct. problem solved.
