Hi,

Bmw e83 preLCI with automatic gearbox.
Problem is with switching car to sleep mode - gear indicator light P are iluminatet all time. Power consumption is not big, because after 3 days car start normally.

What I already check:
- remove power supply to engine bay
- disconnect navigation
- parasitic draw over fuses. 

The only fuse that show draw is fuse 52 located front distribution box.
According to diagram, it is one of power suply for gm module.
In detail it supply: interior lights, washer pump, trunk lid release and load cutout.

Trunk release -  work, so i think it is not releated.
Washer pump - i got fault in ista, but try disconnect both pump but it not help
Interior light - only one not working, left rear passenger site. Maybe only bulb, dont check yet
Load cutout - that i dont understand. What purpose is this signal? How to check it? Acording to diagram every interior light plus gear indicator light are connected with this signal. I think problem is in this signal.

Anybody could help with this?

Is stay on after 16 ~ 30 minutes and is TCU equipped? If it does try to disconnect the TCU.

Yes, it stay on even all night without interrupt car.
TCU you mean mechatronic? Round plug connected to gearbox? Its zf 6hp, it does not have separate module near dde

I check and car don't have tcu - telephone control modul or transmission control module.

Is there any option in this cars to put them in sleep mode without need to wateing ~30 minutes?

the other common control unit is the SHD that can cause a battery drain.
You put a meter in to measure the draw?

Why not use ISTA, do energy diagnosis and it could tell you which unit exactly prevents car from going to sleep!??? Could be many things like IBS too. Glove box light switch could be faulty too. It would help if you would measure the current.

P.S. I hope you checked that all visible lights are off for sure.

P.P.S. It would be worth it to check that not working rear left light. If it's not working due to corrosion it can too short things out and prevent GM from sleeping due to active load.

Bulb was checked, was burn out.
Yes checked all lights and they turn off.
Also checed all door contact in ista and they are working correct
I found non oryginal wires....on one side connect to pin 9 lm module (terminal 30) and to blue/yelow (k-bus??) Could not find other side of wiring..checking rught now.

I guess there is no ABL for energy diagnostic, as there definitely is NOT IBS in E83.
E83 is like E46, quite old and simple electronics.
My guess is that there is aftermarket alarm somewhere hidden in car. = try to follow these mysterious wires.
