TCU odis online problem
Hi i need help with TCU change on the audi a6 2012 ,TCU is changed and i with odis online adptation immo data and odis say FAZ2141E--vin TCU is no vin this car...
I search component protection is no avible in TCU a\t gearbox... its possible vin change in TCU with odis 11 with online geko? when yes  how?

Which TCU type, VL381, DL501 ??

With Odis not possible to change the VIN. You need to do it with other soft for that, but you need to read on bench mode, flash and eeprom.

I think DL501 there are two versions. One is noncrypted and other one is crypted. You cant clone them. only if they are the same.

The difference between the DL501´s its the generation. First units are Gen1 about 2013-14 year and after that its Gen2. Not possible to clone between them, difference file size and boot. You need the same Gen1 or 2 for make a correct cloning.

Pcmflash works perfect with Gen1 and 2.
