VAS5054 A connection problem
Greetings, I would like to ask a problem that I have with a friend's VAS5054 on his computer, who has Win10 64-bit, and the Odis S 7.2.1 and E 12.2... which have always worked for me with my device, and with I can't get yours.

You will see, the VAS5054A that my friend has is from a version of the VASPC program, and the following occurs to me. You connect it to the USB, the pc recognizes it, and the blue led stays on, I perform all the steps to make it work in the odis, (softing, DPU API... etc..), start Odis, any version, the VAS something flashes, like it's recognizing it, but, I give it device information, and the PC hangs... and if I disconnect the VAS from the USB port, the led stays fixed and I have to remove the power for it to come back to blink, and the odis is no longer hanging. Comment that with my VAS5054 on your computer it recognizes it perfectly.
Even "its" VAS5054A, on my computer, without doing anything, recognizes it perfectly.
The usb in theory are correct and up-to-date, since any other device recognizes it. Will it be a softing configuration issue? I am attaching images of the VAS5054A, from my friend. it's weird, right? thank you

RE: VAS5054 A connection problem
Can someone help me or comment something? I attached a video so you can see what it does to the head, which came with the VASPC, from a long time ago....
and with my VAS5054 head, which different circuitry works without problem. I have also noticed that, in the virtual machine that I have the VASPC, the head does not hang....

RE: VAS5054 A connection problem
that head is a half good one. you have missing can chips on it and oki , for sure you have a shit au chip between the boards and if your bt does not have a capacitor on the back then it's a fake amb... so from there you know why. in old vas was old fw that worked in junks , in new ones you have a lot of checks and will not.

If you think i helped you please do take 1 second and press THANKS button thumbsup

Thanks, yes, that must be it, that it is not a fairly good VAS for the last odis and that it only works for VASPC... regards
