ZTAudi  Audi micronas dash repair
https://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.p...t=Micronas
Hi all, I'm trying to repair this cluster from 2009 Audi tt, I ruined it trying to correct odometer by obd, I got xprog to read the micronas but I keep getting security access error, I followed the guide in the thread above because I don't fancy trying to lift the pin, maybe I have to, maybe I'm missing something, I read somewhere that the adapter may need to be modified slightly to work properly  but I can't find it now, this is my adapter and cluster , does the adaptor need to be modified ? Cheers all

Hi, I haven't been able to read it with xprog either, smoke's jtag reads it flawlessly.  Try flashing with vag can pro.

I f@#£&d up 2 pads on PCB but I'm connecting directly to the chip with pogo pins

Shit, I was connected wrong

I was power to the pins below the chip

i will try again tomorrow, i have a spare matching numbers cluster but i think it's useless without a read from the ori micronas
