What tuning software and hardware
Hello,
I like to collect "general knowledge" and would now like to go after coding, now also more in the direction of tuning. My question would be, with which program and tools can you read out the files well and cheaply to upload them here then to play this again? Thought would only BMW. For a few years I have a company with autotuner my cars performance, as I said I would like to test something myself on my older E models. |

Clone kess work fine for Exx to 2009 year. For edc17 and med17 you need pcmflash for obd read. Boot or bench - ktag or kt200

and also working with g models? is there a flasher for e f and g series? |

You want to work on G series and use KT200. Just one killed ecu / flashing gone wrong would cost you a lot. Good tools cost big money with a reason. Get original FLEX/KESS V3 and you will be ok

You want to work on F/G series with clone tool?
Invest some money, make few cars, you will recover money fast. Buy Flex, Autotuner, bFlash or Kess3 |

Thank you - is flex enough? Costs around 1000€ while the rest costs over 2500€.
