In another forum it is reported that map support for MMI3G and MMI3G+ expired in the spring of this year. So 6.36.0 would be the last version.
Can anybody confirm this?

I can't confirm this information for you, but until now Audi has always written LAST EDITION on the cover of the last edition of the map.

I modified the HN+ for use in the RNS850.
It works fine, but I can't find POIs. Does Audi have a POI elsewhere? Is there a procedure for this or do I just have to put up with it? Thank you.

Yes, (HN+ Map = 31.3 GB) then fits on a fat32 formatted SD card
If you also want to update the firmware (P1001 recommended), the firmware may only be installed on a user-defined basis and Bose must be excluded. If you don't do that, your sound settings will be gone and you won't be able to get them back

Important:

For archive use 7zip

Use quality SD cards, micro SD not recommended 
Don't copy the map from Apple notebooks to SD card, use any Windows


If Error 140 shows up, just press Retry or erase old map before update to avoid Error 140

Hi Folks,

Need some help....been a while since doing the last Map update....and seems I've encountered a problems.

HN+ maps downloaded.
7Zip extracted to 64GB SDCard (FAT32 Formatted) and last used successfully for the last update.

Going onto my Q7 - Most Train = HN+_EU-AUG3_K0942_3

So firmware doesn't need update, so process to update maps.

Greenmenu to allow User Defined Mode (as Standard option did not work).

When it comes to the list the all important BOSE is showing as N/A, but when you scroll down to the MAP files Directory it has ? next to it.

To go into the options it looks like there are none to select.......

Tried Standard and User Defined mode......no difference.  

Tried another SDCard just in case this one was faulty.....no joy

Re-Downloaded the files just in case corrupt.....but still not joy.....

Where am I going wrong ?
