Hello how to change on MMI 3G PLUS Firmware and Maps from HN+R_KR (Korea) to Europe...
Only update Firmware and Maps or change in eeprom information?... |

In GEM set map and internal region to EU, also set ignore variant and user-defined in SWDL.
Install EU software, make sure to manually select all under MUxxx, IOC and MuINIC. Then upload language datasets with VCP/ODIS-E to get text back, a8_mmi3+ ZDC in VCP. Then you have to repartition the HDD as the KR NAV partition is smaller than EU and does not fit the newer EU maps anymore, same issue with JP units. Nav partition should be 28159 cylinders, check with fdisk, take needed space from the media partition. |

If you have to ask about that then there is no chance you are repartitioning the HDD.
Just write language dataset, there is no need to mess with EEPROM at all..... |
