Hey guys, quick question.

Friend retorfitted cic business to his e91. Now we need to activate the Navi.
Is it possible to read out the 1b file and generate navi fsc and then the navi is activated? Or do i have to flash the navi to the right vin.

Or do i need to put in repair fsc ?

You will need to write vin into HU and import rapair FSC pack. After that code generation and map update.

There is a free solution for fake certs for CIC Pro, but I don't know if there is anything for CIC business. Probably emulator only...

As far as I know only emulator will work and activate map. As said before- free solution only for CIC Prof retrofit.

i have Bmw air account, so i can download repair pack from the car that got the retrofit if that helps.

So only emulator is possible to upload fsc ?

You have Air account and NO idea how this works at all!!!??? If that is a RETROFIT, there are NO FSCs for CIC business. Just the old CCC FSCs which WON'T work for CIC.

Also emulator does NOT upload FSCs. It just tricks the CIC to think that it's installed in a car with CIC's VIN so CIC does not disable FSCs which are in it. If it did NOT have nav FSC in original car, you won't have it here either.

There is a reason it's called REPAIR pack - it's to restore the functions to a car which is had originally on a replaced hardware which is the SAME as there was originally. It's not called a retrofit pack to allow different/better hardware!!!
