I bought a bmw nfc card on ebay in hopes of being able to adopt it in the nfc reader of the 2019 bmw g21, but it won't hear the card. Is there any function in ista useful for this?

NFC cards are linked to car so getting a random one from internet won't work. You need to order one from your local dealer specified for your vin number.

If car was delivered without NFC card, the NFC function is disabled, so you have to enable this.

And as already written, you cannot a random NFC card and learn them to your car. In this case the NFC Tag data isn't valid.

Is it a procedure present in ista, similar to the one to add a physical key or do you also need some other equipment?

I don't know if there is an option in ISTA, but AFAIK you have to order the NFC card directly at the dealer.
