Resetting a short circuit fault in a FRM module
Hello everyone. BMW E87. For the first time I met such a problem. Short circuit fault in a FRM module is not reset. I did a lot of blocks through Tool 32 reset_kurzschluss_sperre. But this time there is a problem. When entering the corresponding ID lamp - 0x01. I tried other values lamps, but it doesn't help. An error appears - ERROR_ECU_CONDITIONS_NOT_CORRECT_OR_REQUEST_SEQUENCE_ERROR.
File FRM_70.prg, tried FRM_87.prg in Tool32. A mistake and that's it. Does not reset the short circuit. And the headlight in the car does not shine left. The error in the FRM block is a short circuit. Is it possible to dump it somehow? If he is considered a programmer XPROG, where can I find a short-circuit parameter in the code and clean it? Thank you |

RE: Resetting a short circuit fault in a FRM module
Most important think is to be sure that the shortcircuit is corrected, then just use 0xFF....and ofcourse pick the correct prg file for your car, although the messages regading the fuinction should be the same

Make sure you choose correct prg before doing reset. Also once I had to update FRM and after that it allowed me to reset.

RE: Resetting a short circuit fault in a FRM module
Thank you sir! Worked for me. For some reason I couldn’t reset the short circuit for the specific light. Reset only once I used the 0xFF.
