Hello.

I have a E70 2010 that had a theft attempt. Car is not possible to start. Ignition turns on and it cranks but no start.
ECU has 2 errors about CAS/EWS interface error 4A42 and 4A41. Not possible to do DDE/CAS synchronization (ISTA,Autel,VVDI2). These 2 errors means there is no communication from CAS to DDE through D_EWS wire. Wire is OK. There is something wrong with CAS3 eeprom dump. It probably is corrupted when thieves tried to program a new key.
It is CAS3++(ISTAP) with EDC16CP35 ECU
Tried to reflash it with WINKFP, VVDI2 ISTAP recovery and Autel ISTAP recovery and without luck.
Original CAS3 and ECU dumps attached.

Thanks but with this solution problem is still the same. Only sometimes 4A42 in ECU disappears and it allows to sync but then it throws error that start value is different in ECU from CAS. After that 4A42 in ECU is back.

You need down grade CAS3

Why downgrade? Nobody upgraded the CAS.
The car had some thieves who tried to sleal it..
