I'm just curious for anyone thats had some experience with the Pug keys.


I have a 407 xline 2005 2.0 Hdi

Now the key I got when i bought the car, has a damaged IC along with damaged traces on the rf central locking part, rather than spend ages trying to repair I thought i'd plump for a new key.

I have pp2000 for programming it.

Now the question I have is, on the well known auction site there are ID46 keys with the battery located in the fob housing, now my existing key has the battery located physically on the pcb.

Are these cross compatible?
