Is there spark? Does it start on brake cleaner? Will cranking hear even?

Did you check the spark plugs? It may be fouled.

hi @bmwmerc youre dme looks like fry.have a look any flooded bottom in ecu.same as igot same issue.no fault code.theres a time you can read or either not the ecu hpe this is help

A friend had a similar problem on an E65, all of a sudden the car won't start and doesn't give any trouble codes.
After looking at all the fuses, sensors, all the values with ISTA and everything is correct. They opened the engine and it had a split camshaft. |

in my case will be timing chain I think most likely it slipped because of failed tensioners, etc. As when I opened an engine oil cap I pulled the chain and its quite loose. I had no time to investigate this car further though.
