ZTAudi  MMI 3G+ IOC recovery
Hi

Anyone can helpwith restoring bricked MU9498

I tried to flash with latest firmware but SC card was corrupted and it bricked my mmi whilst updating MulOC and IOC i don't have communication with the unit via diagnostics anymore. I can connect to the unit via RS232 i ran emergency update but that's only recovering ifs images. Is there any way to force unit to load and reflash MulOC and IOC. I do have access to SD card and DVD drive from Emergency IFS but nothing comes on screen because IO chip is probably preloaded with corrupted image.

Quote:If the MMI starts with all lights on and fan spinning fast then it’s very unlikely to be able to recover it yourself, the V850 chip will need to be programmed with file D1_OS81050_FW_V01_10_07_CS_V02_01_11.ipf
from the firmware disk. I have special scripts to perform this. The programming is done by starting ‘dev-i2c-
hbfpga’ and ‘dev-inic-flasher’ devices, then address IPC-SWDL with command sendReqDownload, the syntaxes
are: cmnd: 34h \ addr: 01h 00h 00h \ type: 01h \ format: 06h \ size: 01h 00h 00h \ max blk len: 00h FFh…

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

RE: MMI 3G+ IOC recovery
i am looking for solution i found on some russian forums someone mentioned about preparing update.txt and placing it in some folder so ut will initiate IOC update same way as normal firmware update does, unfortunately i don't know how to prepare such file and where to place it. I do have access via TTL but nothing is displayed on the screen, there is communication with panel as when i press buttons i see it in syslog... I managed to run emergency update by erasing FPGA header and part of IFS-Root but that's only recovered IFS images....

log from the system from RS232
