i want to reset totaly my car an E64 LCI 635D of 2009/07.

i retrofit different options as NV, lane departure warning, acc, Hud etc...

ISTA-P ask me to choose yes or if they are replaced modules in my car.

im affraid if i use Yes it will reset all the data in my Automatic GearBox and the Calibration of the ACC retrofit i just make and who cost me alot.

i look many videos but always people choose no because they just code a module with ista-p.

i had many bad codding from the previous Owners i know i can use NCS Expert but they are some things they stay. In any case i want to use ISTA-P to reset all that things ^^

any one who already did that can tell me if i put Yes and after that select totaly all the module of the car i will not loose the adaption of the gear  box and the calibration of the ACC ???

I have for programming a power supply of 100amp and original ICOM Next with the Optical module

Say NO
IF you have EXPERT MODE activated
You can always add/remove modules when you click/select 1 module then choose either to code and program or just coding, then when you review before committing it will also allow you to choose either to code or code and reprogram
Programing == Flashing with same or newer software
Coding == recoding to ISTA specific
KEY and MEMORY == When you can choose to remember seat position activate or di-activate home-coming light ..... etc....
Retrofitting == adding options/modules or remoting options/module

Sometimes IT IS NOT WORTH programing with ISTA because it AUTO detects other modules needing to be updated and then it finds faults and stops on middle of everything or make you wait for 40~60H programing the whole thing


That's why it was always easer and faster to default code with NCS/E-Sys

If you want to continue with ista-p. As extra addition to cataha select partial programming on next pop-up don’t touch ccc/cic and other most components! Ista-p will most likely flash those components too and it will fail! Code those components with ncs.

If car is full of retrofits, use WINKFP and NCS... it will avoid a headache

but guys i want to use ISTA-P with that option as yes. i need by this to understand what it do only regardin my case

If you only want to do update module choose NO , if you replace module on car choose YES. program well ask what modul you replacing ...
