CAS vin invalid issue
I'm getting a invalid vin in cas error from my dsc module. I replaced the cas with a donor and changed the vin via r270 programmer. It reports the correct vin in inpa. Is there something I need to do in the DSC module? Photo of error in ISTA-p is attached.

I don't know why you used the R270 as I just use NCS expert to flash and vin match, it might be worth a try?

I tried that before and even though it said the write was successful, the cas still reported the wrong vin. I was told the only way to change the cas vin was to use an r270 and solder to the board. |

Flashing CAS with different vin doesn’t change vin.
You need to change vin in eeprom and correct crc if u are to change vin in cas. If the issue is in DSC only, code it, go to ista service functions, go to dsc related functions and u will have what u need All my knowledge is free for exchange with valuable information

If you are sure you have the correct vin in the CAS and also in the CAS coding you run steering angle sensor calibration in ISTA.

I changed the vin in the cas eeprom and it reports the correct vin now. However in not sure I changed the checksum to match. I'll post the eeprom dump tomorrow.
