G20 mgu H component protection removal, latest info?
Can anyone update me on the latest process, for removing component protection on a G20 mgu Harmon kardon?
I've bought a stolen recovered car and have managed to code all the replacement modules, but the MGU says component protection, theft proofing protection mode in error. I've seen this thread.... https://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=76287 But unsure if it applies to mine, it's also missing crucial info, of virgin HU or not ?? Many thanks for your time |

AOS ISTA can manage this in most circumstances. Do you know the history of the replacement MGU?

Do you know, what is enough for them ? As I'll be able to get any information.... Or will they just refuse any used head unit?
Can people change the vin in a replacement HU, before CP is activated, this getting around it that way ? As I could buy another HU for pennies. |

You have to ask them for 1AA FSC for the DONOR HU, they will IRAP to check it.
1AA comes automatically in FSC repair kit if there is BDC replacement order. All my knowledge is free for exchange with valuable information

If you use the donor FSC, then I'm guessing you don't virgin the HU ? Or is that incorrect ?
