XZBMW  cam replace in G82 problem
Hi to All,
i try to replace right side view cam in G82 2021Y.

Cam is new. When i put it in place it is not working. Show like no cam.
In esys conding in icam one of SWFL look like 255.255.....

Tal process finish with error showing  like "positive negative response" in swfl coding. After this cafd start show like 255.255....

Put same cam in tail - cam is working. Put tail cam in right mirror - same result - cam is not working.
Check line between icam and right cam connector - all 4 wire is ok.

Any idea how to solve problem ?

Your words DO NOT make ANY sense. SWFL is firmware, so it MUST be FLASHED. I have no idea what "swfl coding" is.

RE: cam replace in G82 problem
At least in G series (experienced on G01, G11), when one camera is not connected (or maybe also not compatible), ICAM2/3 module "reacts" by showing one SWFL as FFFFFFFFF-255.255.255. Module can not be flashed or coded until connection to ALL cameras is restored in full.

I agree. New cam not connected or not compatible - show like  UNKN_ FFFFFFFFF-255.255.255.

Yes. I understand that it should be flashed.

That what i am writing. Can't flash - finish with error.
Connection line - is ok.

So, my question what i do wrong or not understand..

Line is ok. cam is ok as working in tail. can't flash...

It is not obvious where is problem, so i asking community about idea...

It make sense. First SWFL for new cam should be written to ECU. After it will CD Deploy coded by TAL process.

If for you flashing = coding then whatever...

What part number your new cam is?

For me flashing - put SWFL to ECU (same about btldr (but it is not asking about this)) . Code - put CAFD inside ECU.

Part NUM 66535A0F6D7

RE: cam replace in G82 problem
Part is correct so at this point very few possibilities remain. Have you done ANY diagnosis before parts cannon? What faults do you have???

As I see there can be two possibilities:
1. Wires are still bad.
a) Have you tested power wires under load?
b) Have you checked for shorts between them or to power/ground or to other wires?
c) Have you looked at the signals using oscilloscope?
d) ETH wires are high frequency wires. Even if they have continuity there could be other problems like corroded connectors which short at high frequencies only. Have you checked those?
2. Bad TRSVC unit. You could try to switch pins for left/right cameras at the connector and see if fault moves. If doesn't - answer is clear.
