Just you need before 1997 model year HHTwin. After 1997 DAS is good enougth.

Car from 2001, I think, all modules should be in DAS ? 
And I guess you have OBD2 connector.

Maybe some modules are in HTTWin, most should be in DAS.

No just 1, the 38 pin on right hand side engine compartment

In 1997 there was facelift and CAN network was introdused. I thought there is 16 pin obd2 connector and all diagnostic is in DAS (just know car from 1995, so HTTwin and 38 pin socket).

Until 1997 there is black line on bottom of bumpers, after lift bottom of bumpers has shaped covers in color of the car.

That vehicle always used the 38-pin connector, in some of the latest production and for certain markets, the EOBD connector could be incorporated for legal reasons and it only supports OBD diagnostics, in W202 everything is K line and these modules are often diagnosable by the impulse system.
