XZBMW  Use sideview as rearview G01
Hello,

Is it possible to use sideviewcamera ICAM2-S as rearview for retrofit in G01 series?

Or does only ICAM2-R works?

Hi,

I am doing retrofit, and i know 1000% cables are ok, but i buy rearcamera but seller send ICAM2-S and its not working.

I think only possible use as rear camera when have 360C camera system because than camera connected to other ECU.

With only rear its direct connect to BDC or ENS

RE: Use sideview as rearview G01
If the car is with surround view camera, yes side front rear are the same
But he wants to install the ICAM-S thats works with an ECU instead of ICAM-R ONLY. Thats completely different, wont work or even read in diag, wiring is different as well.

Surround view cameras
ICAM2-S ( Rear, side, front) Same *works with ecu
Reversing camera only
ICAM2-R (REAR VIEW ONLY without an ECU)

Oh I thought we are talking about 5DN cameras. You can't use 5DN camera as simple (non-5DN) rear view camera.
