Hello, I have a problem on an M5 F10. My customer has one of his DME MEDV17.2.8 ECUs (bank 2) that burned out. I bought a used ECU, and I cloned the ECU from bank 1 to bank 2 in BENCH with AUTOTUNER. However there is a "master" ECU and a "slave" ECU. I reassembled both ECUs to the vehicle, then flashed with SDP 4.39.20 (i-level 22-11-xxx) and ESYS 3.40. The car starts and drives. However there is a "powertrain" error in the idrive CIC system. I pass the ISTA diag, and I have a "1B2904: protection against SWT manipulations: speed limitation" fault. This defect after carrying out a control plan turns out that it is necessary to designate the "SLAVE" ECU and the "MASTER" ECU (there are two SLAVE ECUs or two MASTERs)... I cloned the bench 1 on bench 2, so I have two identical ECUs. The car starts and drives. How to solve this problem ?

I think you just need to code slave DME properly. And don't forget to set injector compensation values!

Workbench 1 DME master and workbench 2 DME slave.
Programming the two DME with ISTA will solve your problem.
That's if you don't have other problems including with the DME themselves

Master and slave have different FSCs. You should also rewrite the serial number

I think it was better to write new ISN, reset hours, program, inject FSC
