Hey guys,

I tried to update the I-LEVEL of my car to latest 23-07-520 using ISTA+ 4.37.40(Sedoy). Usually I did this by e-sys, today I want to change and bad things happened.

The programming and coding procedures went well and no errors occurred. After that  update online service and Clear DTCs had warnings.
I find out that there's a fault memory could not been deleted: '026080 Instrument panel: Certificates (Type1) not ready', I checked the fault it said KOMBI certs is invalid or not exists, I should execute 'exchanging KOMBI' action to update the certs.

Then I test the car, KOMBI display normally, HUD and Navigation maps display normally, nothing unusual noticed.

So the question is:
1. I can't go online(I don't have any online account), is this action must be done online? If it must be, is there any offline method I can use to fix this? I have some FSCs backuped but I don't know whether they are the FSCs needed.
2. Is this action safe? Because now the KOMBI has no apparent problem, I'm afraid the 'exchage action' could make the problem worse.

This problem is not related to fsc. You need vidilation ecu. It is possible to implement it offline with e-sys or ista. But you need get vidilation file from aos. Upload your CBB request file. I will download the CBB response file for you

I guess it should be vALIDation, not vidilation

On the subject: IMHO using ESys would NOT have made any difference. Most probably new firmware needs revalidation. You should do what ISTA suggests. Then choose to do validation manually and produce request file. ISTA will then save the file which you give to anyone with AOS access or dealer. And then you get the reply you choose to import it in ISTA and it will do the thing.

It is possible to do the same in ESys, but I don't know if it will produce the same file format as ISTA.

Problem solved, but it's a bit weird so it's worth writing down.


First thanks @laquangksxd and @Node, your help make me warm.

The problem solved by this:
1. laquangksxd could help to renew the certs, so I went to my car to generate the request file. I didn't generate it using ISTA, because ISTA cacluated and give me a very long plan and I didn't know what will happen. So I used e-sys 22.06 to generate the request file(Comfort Mode->Certificate 
Management->Offline->1. Create CBB Request File->Read data and create temporal CBB request);

2. I copied the CBB request file and send it to laquangksxd, laquangksxd sent me back the responese file;

3. I went back to my car and reopened the e-sys and prepared to write back the responese file. Suddently I remembered I didn't check the status of Certs, so I clicked on the 'Start data check' button. The I found all the certs status were green OK ???
   

So I quit the write back process and reopened ISTA to check the status of KOMBI, as expect all the ECUs were green, the fault memory were gone.
   

So that's all the things I met. Wish it could help you like @laquangksxd and @Node helped me. Thanks CT.
