The fact that FM radio stopped working might indicate some unit fault? Some old electronics really don't like loosing voltage. For example, a bad capacitor could do such a failure.

I tested on different DVDs - as in the picture. It does not read the Navigation Map discs, but the "inspection disk" has read it.

The yellow DVD Inspection Disc worked ok.
I made a copy of the DVD white to a new DVD-R disc - but the situation is the same.

Try to disconnect again the battery and load the white(new) dvd .

You must remove and send the unit for repair ,you have a common issues,some guys can fix it:12volt.lv/oem head-unit/toyota,...
