A4 B8 SKC (Pin) help please
Hi everyone.
I wonder if someone can help me? I have an Audi A4 B8 Tdi 170 (CAHA). I need to find the SKC so that I can continue programming. I have EU KTAG & KESS V2, IMMOFF17 and ODIS-S with WIFI VAS 6154. What I don't have is an SKC tool. Would really appreciate any help or advice. Thanks. |

WHAT exactly are you trying to program ? @raffy a4 b8 needs component protection as far as i know, PIN CODE would not help with anything

Thank you Raffy. perhaps I did not explain very well...
The ECU gave up the ghost big time. Water got into it and fried it. Luckily I was able to get my hands on an identical part number ECU. So using KTAG I was able to read the flash and eeprom from the old unit. I was then able to clone the replacement ECU. Job sorted methinks? Plug and play now? NO! Then I noticed that the remote wasn't unlocking the car, and the cluster displaying "SAFE". So out with my X-431 to code the keys again. Therein lies the issue. The X-431 is asking for the pin code. I don't have it, hence I'm asking for advice amongst the clever people at CarTecnology. Confession: I'm getting on a bit now... Ask me to completely strip and rebuild a MK1 Cortina. Happy me, I know them inside out and back to front. Know most stuff on lots of makes/models up to bloody computers! So here I am, all this knowledge about older generations, struggling with computers! Silly thing is, I can strip and rebuild a laptop, install the OS and bingo. Vehicle electronics are a definite weakness. So back to my original question. Can someone point me in the right direction please? Thanks guys... |
