VISTEON DCU102 from FORD TRANSIT adapt to Citroen Jumper ???
Hi today they brought me ecu Visteon DCU102 From ford Transit. They wanted to fit it to a Citroen Jumper III 2.2 2007 that indeed has a Visteon DCU102 they said they told them as its the same engine its possible ??
The original ecu is missing from the car as they lost it. I was like...  Why didnt you buy ecu from citroen jumper ?¿? I suppose maps and communicatiion is totally different, not gonna work.Anyway i tried to load a map I found from Citroen Jumper III 2.2.... And Ktag said... No , this ecu is not the plugin blabla. I tried with protocol 37 and 38 by ford and by citroen. So I guess its a big NO . I already gave the ecu back , But it let me doubting if its somehow possible to make it work ?? |

u can write another full backup of a citroen jumper or boxer or ducato too on that ecu and then u make virgin , it's simple ecu mate and yes i think it will work with Transit sw too on that trunk . if u need i can give u virgin jumper file for that visteon

So why when I tried to write a total ktag backup, ktag said wrong ecu not corresponding software ( Identifying the backup file i wanted to write as PSA and the ecu identifying as FORD ?? I tried with both protocols 37 and 38. Maybe it was just an innapropiate sw version the ktag full backup i found ? As i said i already returned the ecu. but would like to know for future reference. |
