Hello,

I'm making my own harness for VW MQB/MIB platform and everything works (gateway, mib2 + display, instrument cluster, bmc et.) except USB port/hub on MIB2 unit
I connected mib2 3Q0035840C  (yellow connector) to USB port/hub (green connector) via 4pin LVDS cable without AUX cable.

Tested with two USB port/hub 5QF035726 and 5G0035222 and none of them are working, now even charge mobile. 

Any idea ?

There is no two wires on the side, only 4pin LVDS/HSD cable. 
I don't have connection for these two wires on port/hub side as well.

But I see at these two wires coming from green mini-port in quadlock and I assuming at they are Positive and Negative (red and black color) for USB.

Problem solved.
Sourced 5G0035222E which have connection for two extra wires (6pin LVDS/HSD) for USB power connection (5v) and USB is working now incl. carplay/android auto
