Hello Techs,
I have a Nissan Navara D40 2007,YD25. Mechanic was changing the clutch plate and damaged the crankshaft sensor in the process, now I've tried to replace 3 different sensors but the fault for crankshaft sensor keep on coming back anytime I run the engine, I've checked wiring, the flywheel and replaced sensor with a good one from running car but, but the fault persists what else can I check

I'm not familiar with Nissan
On BMW now there is magnetic ring on back many shops brake magnet during installation of an engine
Check for dirt on crank position sensor,
Check for metal at the end of crank position sensor,
Check size of crank position sensor
Check for old O-Ring/gasket for crank position sensor
Check for micro cracks CPSensor
RESET/Adapt CPSensor via computer
Check reading with Voltmeter ( bad sensor is 0~500 and good reading 670~1200 )
Check if Flywheel is bend or missing teeth
Check if wires been broken
Check your cam sensors, rotate cam sensors, check wiring of cam sensors
Unplug MAF sensor, throutlebody, crank engine see if you still get the same codes

It has been a month since he first posted, I would imagine it is fixed or scrapped by now.
