Since the two engines differs only in ECU sw I would like to switch map from CAYB 03L906023LK to CAYC 03L906023LN on Skoda Fabia 2011. (90ks -> 105ks)


I will use ODIS-E to flash existing ECU in the car, but that will trigger IMMO due to difference in power class.

What is cheapest way to change power class on instrument cluster (to sync with new power class on engine and trigger IMMO off) ?

if you are swapping engine ecu only why not change PC on engine ecu flash ?

SW is for same car, just difference in map.

or make immo of ecu with full flash read, consequently the power class issue will become redundant

I'm in planning phase, trying to see which tool I need to change power class in dashboard.

There is no donor unit, I will flash existing ECU 03L906023LK (90hp)  in the car with original flash file 03L906023LN (105hp) with ODIS.
It's same engine, just two different maps.

After flash, IMMO will trigger due to difference in power class between engine-dashboard.
Eg. engine will got 105hp power class and dashboard will remain on 90hp and that's why I need to change power class (penultimate byte) on dashboard to 105hp.
