Had a faulty CAS4, alarm going off, wont shut off.
CAS4 showed needed firmware update. Even though the CAS4 was just programed by me a few weeks ago to latest level.

Original part number is

i tried updating CAS with E-sys and failed.

i backed up CAS4 eeprom after e-sys failed and wrote to donor CAS4 with part number

61359367374

after writing eeprom i connected to esys to program VIN is all 00000000000000000

i rewrite cas4 eeprom and recheck by reading VIN, it shows correct VIN in hex.

i re-install donor cas with correct VIN in eeprom and still shows 00000000000000000

i tried to write VIN with tool32, error argument with 17vin

can someone please check my eeprom to see if it is corrupt please?

Write the p-flash in your old cas4 and try. Your EEPROM is ok, all CRCs are ok

unfortuantly eeprom error fault stored in cas. my old cas is faulty. i was able to rewrite the eeprom and restore the donor cas. but we can mark this one solved.
