4F7910401L 0100 Audi A6 CANC


I Read EDC17CP14 with x17 in OBD TP20 Mode . I made Swirls OFF and AGR OFF. Tool make CS OKAY and Rewrite the file with Flash finisched OKAY OBD .Car not Start after flashing
I Opened ECU and read Boot Mode. Tried to rewrite the ori and modified file - engine not starting.Radiators blow full and Car not start!! Vcds see Foto/Odis see the ecu !!Odis can not Reflash it not start Flashing it comes error.
X17 Update Funktion is not aviable for this ECU overwrite
Anyone can help?

try to connect with x17 in uds mode then check if there's VR file and write

you LOCK ECU

If you are unsure about the tprot level send your ori to x17 support and they will say it only works on obd or tricore.

You need to open the ECU and repair it online via MMS


If the car is TP, you can't write with the file you read before. You need to unlock OBD, so you need full file beforehand, partial OBD reading is not enough. Virtual read, SGO to bin or other boot read.


there is no bl_obd unlock for edc17cp14 only obd bl_irom bl_eprom tp2.0 and after switching to the edc17cp14 protocol it clearly says that May/2009 and newer cars must use boot mode

Hello OBD uds was Not Indentify IT Starts and white Error .
I have write to te MSS Support and the Answer was i have No Aktive Flex Account the x17 Support are closed ,No Help for me 
Can i fix the locked Status by me or only Online Thanks

easyest way is contact mms and they will fix ur file. strange thing is on my x17 if ecu has tp20 it doesn t let me write the file by obd...don t know why it let u do it. for me it checks the ecu sw and promps and message on screen it must be unlocked in boot mode.

CP14 3.0TDI CDYA and 2.7TDI CANC only via bootmode if you are using X17. Flex does them by OBD but unlock process makes fans spin at full blast for over 10 mins, so if you don't have proper battery backup unit such as GYSFlash HF12.100 may end up with corrupted ecu. If you write unmodified obd read you have pulled via X17 it should start again, but you need battery backup unit to do so or go under the car and disconnect fans... 

Bear in mind if you flashed anything in bootmode you need to flash 1st Bootmode read you pulled skipping chekcsums, then put ecu back in the car and flash original OBD read taken from ecu via OBD...
