R56 Rev counter swap
I’m planning on fitting CHAMP2 nav to my car (which currently has CCC) and the unit I have comes with a JCW grey speedometer/CID.
I gather that if I swap the rev counter/tacho to match, I’ll get a tamper dot on the display. Can I reset the rev counter (reprogramme and code a used unit?) or is it more of a hacking job with an EPROM reader type thing? |

Yes I have done... dissmount cluster and unmount eeprom, use a programmer, solder and code
