Which EDC17 ecu HW for CUNA vw golf
Hi Chaps
Tried adapting a 04L907309R ECU for CUNA golf but failed in ODIS as incorrect part SW should be 04L906026BS But there are two types of EDC17 ECU HW for this engine 04L907309A 04L907309R WHich is correct? VIN: WVWZZZAUZHW186900 |

04L907309R should work
04L907309R is the HW id. This HW can hold many different SW for different engine power classes. Before doing immo (there is no CP for ECUs) make sure: 1: The VIN in the donor ECU is of a VW vehicle (not AUDI or...) if not then you can't do immo with ODIS. 2: The SW inside is for a 184 HP engine otherwise it won't start even if you did immo with ODIS because it will be blocked by the immo of the car and you won't be able to flash it to a different SW. |
