Hello , 

  I have this Renault Airbag ECU : Continental 285589834R , with faults DTC908049 and DTCF00316 (Computer fault and Computer supply voltage fault) . I managed to read the dump , but I'm not sure it is a software fault . Can you compare it with a good dump or do you have a virgin dump for this ECU ?

was the car in a collision ?
it's ok , i checked, no crash data so must be a wireing problem, check all connections, goodluck

Car was not in collision , no crash errors stored - just power supply and computer fault. Bought a used computer , same part number : no more power supply fault , but a fault on the driver seat position sensor (probably donor car had electric seat) . I tried writing the original dump on this ECU and got the first faults back , non erasable . Any ideas ?

Problem solved . It was an eeprom fault after all . Once the DTC908049 and DTCF00316 are set you can't clear them . If you have a good dump and rewrite it - all is ok . The driver seat position sensor error was set due to incorect coding of LHD RHD . Ended up using the "new" control module with its original dump .
