ODIS-E 14.1 Windows 11 installation
Please I wanted to ask, does have anybody installed ODIS-E 14.1 on Win11? Installer always stucked at "unpacking files". I tried disable Hyper-V, compatibility settings, etc... with the same result. Is there any fix or only solution is newer ODIS-E version?

RE: ODIS-E 14.1 Windows 11 installation
You can try lowering the system to 21H1~or opening the task manager to end extracting files! This is the only solution

Installation finishes, with error, that some files or part are corrupted, and rollback. But I found a way how to install ODIS-E 14.1 into VMWare so I run it in VM Hate electric vehicles + VMWare = my life

RE: ODIS-E 14.1 Windows 11 installation
Try using other source for setup.
Try uninstalling/installing Java. Try uninstalling all Visual C++ and reinstalling them. Before installing ODIS clean very well the PC from other ODIS installations (including Program Files and Program Data folders) and run CCleaner. If i've helped don't forget the magic buttons, thanks + rep

Only Workaround is to replace reg.exe from your windows 11 with the reg.exe from a windows 21h1.
Then the Installation work perfect. |

RE: ODIS-E 14.1 Windows 11 installation
I tried to replace reg.exe even in Safe Mode and it wouldn’t let me.
End Task in TaskManager is greyed out for reg.exe, so can’t stop process. If i've helped don't forget the magic buttons, thanks + rep

RE: ODIS-E 14.1 Windows 11 installation
I installed Win 11 on the latest version with no problem. I only had problems uninstalling old version of odis, after that I could not install new version of odis, to solve this problem I would have to reinstall win 11.

Change file attributes from reg.exe in WIndows 11, then copy the reg.exe from 21H1 to the folder and change the attributes form the new reg.exe |

RE: ODIS-E 14.1 Windows 11 installation
i'm guessing that you wanted to say that i need to change Permissions.
Because Attributes means just if the file is Read-Only or not (it wasn't). If i've helped don't forget the magic buttons, thanks + rep
