Hi,

Firend has G30 2018 with HU NBT2 EVO - ID6.
Current maps are from 2018. I tried to update them to EVO 2023-2.

I have 120 FSC lifetime files from HUTool 2.6. After connecting USB, it recognizing maps update, but in next step asking to put correct lic file on USB.

I have added 120 file into FSC folder in main path of USB stick - with VIN name of file - fould in internet some tips. But is does not start update ?

Can someone clarify correct process of FSC code preparation ?

PS.

My considerations :

1. Maybe FSC 120 file is wrong from HUTOOL ? Or I am doing something wrong with file placement ?

2. Should I put it by eSYS to AppID 288 directly ? And next use usb with maps ?

If the headunit has never been pathed then how would you like to use fake 120 FSC where all FSC in hu are from original ? If you don't want to use a path and your HU has never been a path, the only solution is to get the original FSC code to update the maps.

BTW HU tool 2.6 is not a good option.

HUtool is creating patch file (for USB). But I am not sure does it work correctly...

I understand, that HUtool is not fully functional for patching ?

Does anybody has checked solution, I guess patching of HU is the cheapest solution ?

I know what a HUTOOL is, and I know what it does…like half of the users on this forum, I'm just saying that the 2.6 version that you have is available on the internet and is a cracked version! and usually doesn't work properly! And completely not working with newer ilevel.
I own orginal tools HU3 and HUEN for headunits, I can help you with this if you wish, but you can also try to find someone on Facebook where there are many people who sells carPlay path just for kebab.
