Here I did not ask 14.8 is good or not.
Here I asked how to teach to thr car to charge with less than 15v. For example 14.5v to be the maximum. |

Recharging curve is calculated by some maps stored into the ecu, on many parameters by the ibs, recharging hystogram, actual voltage, actual power request, temperature, etc.... That's why, if you have a bsd alternator, is important to "tell the car" what battery technology and capacity you have installed, so ecu can choose the right charging curve. Only tell "i have a new battery" (registration) is not enough, if you change type from agm to lead acid you have to store this info too. |
